E-visa:- Travelers can apply for Indian e-Visa at least 4 days before their date of arrival in India. However, it's recommended not to wait until the last minute and to apply well in advance to account for any processing delays or issues that may arise. The window for applying could be up to 120 days before your intended arrival date, meaning you can apply for your e-Visa anywhere from 4 to 120 days before your travel date.

E-visa approval normally takes 72 hours after application.

7. Fees: The visa fee varies depending on the nationality of the applicant and the type and duration of the visa. It is non-refundable, even if the visa is denied or if the visa application is withdrawn.

8. Children: All individuals, including children, must have a visa to enter India. Children must have their own passport to apply for an e-Visa.

9. Not Eligible for Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders: Holders of Diplomatic or Official Passports are not eligible for e-Visas and must apply through their respective embassy or consulate.

10. International Travelers should have return ticket or onward journey ticket, with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.

11. Not available to individuals endorsed on Parent's/Spouse's Passport i.e. each individual should have a separate passport.

12. Not available to International Travel Document Holders other than Passport.
